Leland J. Nelson, MBA

Leland Nelson, MBA is a Business Adviser to over 150 small businesses throughout PA, DE, NJ, GA, NC, NY, etc. in Digital Transformation, IT Staff Augmentation, and Management Consulting.

Former Supervising Senior Accountant at KPMG, LLP, Leland consulted on the engagement team for such companies as Rite Aid Corporation, York International, Hershey Creamery, ShopVac, Caterpillar, and Swatch Watch.

Leland has over 25 years of industry knowledge from private, public, and entrepreneurial advisory. As owner of Think Tank Consulting, he is a Small Diverse Business Enterprise Partner and provides industry best practices in the areas of Information Technology, Marketing, Digital Transformation, and Business Process Management.

Leland holds a B.S. in Accounting from Delaware State University and a MBA, with a concentration in Data Analytics from Penn State University. He is an inaugural graduate of the MLK, Jr. Leadership Development Institute and a charter member of the National Black MBA Association, Greater Harrisburg Chapter. Leland has held numerous advisory positions over his career including member of Governor Wolf’s Advisory Council on Diversity, Inclusion and Small Business Opportunities; Delaware State University’s College of Business Advisory Board; and Central Penn College’s Board of Directors.
